How are HAM’s used?
Human amniotic membrane (HAM) can be applied to the surface of the eye to cover or offer protection from the surrounding environment in ocular repair and reconstruction procedures.
Are these grafts safe?
These grafts are terminally sterilized to a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of 10-6, and rigorously tested to meet or exceed current FDA, State, and American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB) standards to ensure safety.
